Backup4all is an award winning backup utility by softland, providing incremental, differential, mirror and full backups to network or ftp locations Backup 4 All is a diverse easy to use backup program. We were very impressed with the professional and standard additions of the software, we would strongly recommend them for business use. But the portable addition directed to end user to make personal backup does not meet the needs of the end user, we feel they have taken the product they already had removed some feature and gave it a new name to appeal to a new market. The large array of features allows a very customizable backup but we feel for the end user this is over the top and simplicity would be more appropriate. Backup 4 All is still a great backup solution but this release does not stand out for portable backups we also feel there website fails to deliver the necessary information when making a choice between Backup 4 all portable, lite, standard & professional and to download and trial all 4 versions is time consuming.

Backup4all Portable does full, incremental, differential and mirror backups.

Backup4all Portable is a portable backup solution for Windows. Using Backup4all Portable you can easily backup to any local or network drive, backup to FTP (with support for SSL encryption, proxy server, passive mode), backup to CD/DVD/Blu-ray, or back up to USB drives.



Backup4all Portable can be configured to automatically run a backup job when the USB drive is connected. Think of the time spared as you will have to simply plug-in the USB device to execute a backup.



This application can backup open/locked files and it can perform full, differential, incremental and mirror backups. When defining a backup you can also set file filters. Once a backup is performed, you can see what files have been changed since the last backup or you can read the statistics about the next backup execution. You can use the context menu from the tree to run standard actions associated with the file type.

There is also the option to run predefined backups, such as My Documents, My Pictures or Outlook Express emails and settings.



Backup4all Portable has ZIP64 support (can create backups over 2 GB) and creates standard zip files, meaning that you can access it with any zip compatible utility. Backup4all Portable also allows you to encrypt your backup using AES Encryption (128/192/256-bit).



This portable backup software keeps track of file versions. You can easily restore any version of files or a whole folder. You can filter files to be restored. Backup4all Portable tests the backup files automatically to ensure the backup is safe and correctly executed (uses CRC32). You can also enable email notifications to receive an email in case of success/error/warning.



Backup4all Portable comes with its own built-in CD/DVD burning support and it offers multi-language support (over 15 languages available).
